Tuesday, September 14th

Started class by reviewing the important questions from last night's homework. After question #10 (private property), transitioned to the Fishing Experiment.

Using the Fishing Experiment - Mr. M showed students (through their own actions) how important it is to be free to own private property. When the fish were held in "common" in the ocean - students went nuts to harvest them. When they were given a "fish farm", students took better care of managing their fish. They now had an interest, an incentive, to see their farm do well.

Looked at the John Stossel video - How Can the Tigers be saved?  Thought-provoking
