Groups are working hard on completing their essays and commercials. Many are building the toys in class - awesome!

Aaron Rodgers Day! 12/12/12 Go Pack!

Okay, our agenda today was:

• 1. Discuss the rubric for the project. Mr. M covered all the different parts and explained how everything will work. 
• 2. Viewed some student commercials from years past. Thus, to get a framework of what to do and what it will most likely look like.
• 3. Students were back at working in the toy groups.
• 4. Mr. M edited persuasive essays and had 1-1 conferences.

Toy Entrepreneur!

Student "Start-ups" are working on the following: Finishing surveys (most are out), beginning the persuasive essays, thinking about commercials (just did a lesson), and considering what will be needed to construct their toy prototypes.

We are getting really busy in the Toy Entrepreneur simulation. Students are working hard on getting out their surveys. They are also working on the persuasive essays and the actual toy!

Toy Entrepreneur! Our agenda today was:

• Collect the Toy Logos
• Brief talk between Kiva groups
• Groups working on narrowing down their choices, meeting with me, choosing one and moving on to Part 3 (Persuasive Essay and Marketing Survey)

Thursday, Nov 29th - Friday, Nov 30th

Our agenda on these days was:

• After getting in our departments (groups) we began the brainstorming process (Part 1)
• After brainstorming a ton of ideas, students began to whittle their ideas down to their favorite 2 or 3. 
• Once they chose their favorite 2 or 3, students went into more detail about these ideas (Part 2)
• Some groups completed their detailed idea sheets and are ready for Part 3 (on Monday).
