Monday, September 27th

Began by reading Uncle Mort's Money - reviewing it and answering these two questions:
What was wrong with Uncle Mort's decision to hide money around the house?
By hiding his money around the house, what was Mort missing out on?

Showed the $1 million mattress thrown away clip and shared other horror examples of how bad things can happen when hiding money around
 the house.

Then moved to how money can grow! Defined "interest" and then gave a simple example. Then introduced "COMPOUND" interest and gave an example.

Shared the penny/compounding example. Then walked them thru the Investor A and Investor B examples noting that the EARLIER you begin investing the greater the result! Looked at the historical stock markets chart - 10% growth annually since 1925.  Longer it - better off!
