First, we took a look at ancient forms of money. We discussed the homework from the night before. Mr. M also brought in some Roman coins. The coins predate Christian Rome. They were of Emperors Valerian, Claudius II, and Numerian.

Next, we continued our look at money by learning about what we want our money to be - the CHARACTERISTICS OF MONEY. Money should be durable, easily portable, easily divisible, and scarce (not unlimited).

Finally, we looked at the TYPES of MONEY - Commoditiy Money, Representative Money, and Fiat Money.
