Continued to talk about our new BFF - compound interest! This is lesson #3 of our stock unit. Looked at how students did on the compound interest homework and discussed it. Next, took a look at how these first three lessons can be applied in real life - the 40 year investment chart! Also, examined the Historical Stock chart showing the growth of the markets since 1925 - 10% annually on average. Finally, Lesson #4 - So, why do people invest? Listed on the board the students responses and they got them all! Nice job!
