Today we began our last unit of the semester: Toy Entrepreneur. We...
- Began our Toy Entrepreneur project. We will be studying entrepreneurship in class. We will learn about what entrepreneurs do and why they are important. But, we will also become entrepreneurs!
- Each class has become a "Start Up". They will further divide into departments and they will come up with ideas for new toys for the holiday season.
- The names of the Start-Ups are:
- 1st Period - The Elephant
- 2nd Period - Toy Box Toys Inc.
- 3rd Period - Toylicious!
- 6th Period - Fun Size Toy Corporation
- 7th Period - Melted Crayon Toyz.
- Students learned what was going to happen during this unit. They learned the process of going from nothing to presenting a new toy to a panel of "sharks".
- The presentation is based on the TV show "Shark Tank".
- We decided upon a name for our new companies (as seen above).
- We also began thinking and voting on what different toy categories our companies will focus on.
