Our agenda today:

• Mr. M just returned from a leave of absence to be with his newborn son! So, we needed to do a little organization and see how things went last week.
• Lesson of the Day: 'The Banker's Bank"
• Mr. M showed a clip of "It's a Wonderful Life" specifically the "run on a bank" scene. After the brief clip Mr. M expressed the desire to avoid these "runs on banks" and thus we created a bank for banks! This was our introduction to the Federal Reserve System.
• Using the Fed  Today Video and notes handout, the students learned about the important role of the FED in our economic system.
